Episode Notes

One of the focuses of the Chamber has been providing our local business owners with valuable resources to pivot during the pandemic. And providing our members with the platform to get the word out to other business owners about tools and strategies that can help inform critical decisions.

The topic of Business Innovation continues to remain a relevant topic because the framework and mindset is applicable at every stage of a business’ lifecycle.

For this reason, this episode is longer than our usual 15-20 minute episodes.

In this episode:

We’ll be learning from Sam about how to use the business model canvas to evaluate how we create value for our customers and sell value to our customers

He’ll be going over the value in identifying what the process is that we go through as a business to create value propositions and deliver those value propositions to our customers

You’ll get clear on what the difference are between cost and price, customers and users, as well as hear about examples of how real businesses are utilizing different models and framework to attract customers, cut costs, and are disrupting their industries

As always, you can find all of our episode links in the show notes - located in the episode description as well as on our website at sanmarcoschamber.com/business-model.
